In 1983 Edmund Zysk gave us the two flag poles on the front lawn,
in remembrance of his wife, Frances.
From these poles the Papal and American flags fly each Sunday.

In 1985 a gazebo was built
in memory of Anthony J. Luisi; this lovely addition to the landscape
has been much appreciated by brides searching for picture backgrounds

Momma's House
When our Dominican Sisters moved to other quarters in 1994, the old convent
was transformed into a temporary residence to help young mothers;
this is called "Momma's House"

In 1998, Mr. & Mrs. John Phelan gave the parish this statue of Rachel
in memory of the unborn children whose lives were cut short by abortion.
As Rachel mourned for her lost children in the Old Testament and was
invoked by Matthew in the New Testament to mourn again for the Holy Innocents,
so now she leads the Church and the world in mourning for the new Holy Innocents.

In 1999, a bocci-ball court was built on our property,
as a gift of the Scaccia Family.
Above, Robert Colgan and his grandson Bobby enjoy
a moment of bonding on the court.

In 2001 our church was repainted.   It should be noted
that the color red was chosen originally because it is the
liturgical color for St. Paul

In 2002 the ceiling light bulbs needed replacing.   This was no easy operation;
a special scaffolding was needed for the task.   Robert Ward took care of all the details.
